Valley Care Adult Day Services
provides a balanced program of social, recreational and therapeutic activities for adults who need supportive services during the day. At the same time, the program offers support to caregivers and family members and gives them a chance to "catch their breath." Adult Day Services can be an intermediate step between life at home and 24-hour care in a facility, helping to delay nursing home placement while keeping families together.

Carolyn has been living alone since her husband died eight years ago. Last year, she was hospitalized seven times due to injuries from falling in her home. Six months ago, Carolyn began attending Valley Care Adult Day Services. Since then, she hasn't been hospitalized once.

Valley Care Adult Day Services is housed in a custom-designed facility created to convey a sense of familiarity and comfort. A serene yet stimulating garden area engages the senses with fragrant flowers, a beautiful fountain, and soothing wind chimes. This secure area enables clients to enjoy the outdoors safely, without the dangers associated with wandering off.

The one-story building features natural lighting, a spacious activity room, quiet areas for small groups, a bathing area, and a therapeutic kitchen that is fully accessible to disabled individuals.
